The Audit Relief™ Protection Package is available for each individual federal income tax return filed with the Internal Revenue Service and for an additional fee, an individual state income tax returned filed with the customers State Department of Revenue.



Each Package includes:

  • 1 Certificate of Coverage (specific to each tax agency and each tax year selected)

  • Audit Relief™ Communication Organization
    The Audit Relief™ staff will assist you with the review and organization of all communications that are initiated by the IRS or State Department of Revenue. Audit Relief™ staff will respond to all of your questions concerning the communication and notify you of important deadlines and follow up procedures. You may call us as often as you need in order to feel comfortable about the communication in hand.

  • Audit Relief™ Audit Preparation
    Audit Relief™ will assist you in preparing for an audit. Based on a careful review of all communication that you receive from the IRS or State Department of Revenue, the Audit Relief™ staff will provide step-by-step information on how to prepare for your upcoming audit. We will go over documents that you will need to gather, questions that will be asked and give you an overall understanding of the audit process. The work that we do together will ensure a smooth audit.

  • Audit Relief™ Audit Representation
    Audit Relief™ will provide an *Enrolled Agent ("EA") or *Certified Public Accountant ("CPA") to represent you in an audit. The EA or CPA will be by your side the entire time and attend the audits with you, communicate with the assigned Revenue Agents as necessary, and manage the entire audit process.
  • NOTE: (Any and all protection of Amended Income Tax Returns are subject to a fee for the original Income Tax Return and an additional fee for the Amended Income Tax Return).


    Exclusions:

    1. Individual Income Tax Returns that are rejected by the Internal Revenue Service or applicable State Department of Revenue;

    2. Individual Income Tax Returns that have already been selected for examination;

    3. Individual Income Tax Returns that have been superseded by an Amended Income Tax Return without the purchase of an Audit Relief™ Protection Package for Amended Income Tax Returns;

    4. Individual Income Tax Returns that have been filed in excess of 12 months past due (our program does not provide for the reimbursement of any penalties or interest imposed by taxing authorities).;

    5. Any non-resident and non-individual tax return including, but not limited to, employment, corporate, state and local small business, city tax return, occupation tax, partnership, trust, estate, and/or gift tax returns;

    6. Individual Income Tax Returns that have been determined to be filed in a false or fraudulent manner.



    *Enrolled Agents and CPAs do not provide legal representation. A signed Power of Attorney would be required.
